  This is hands down the best martial arts school in South Florida. I’ve been going to this school for around 3 years now, and I must say it’s changed my life. I didn’t get into the martial arts just because of self-defense. I lead a pretty quiet life and the odds of me running into any real danger or harm from another person is realistically very slim. I was more interested in finding a school that appealed to the tradition, culture, philosophy and beauty of the martial arts.
  
  When I first got to the school the sensei spoke to me on a one-to-one basis before the dojo was even open for the evening class. He asked me specifically what it was I wanted to work on and get out of the dojo and then offered to let me attend the school for two weeks (no charge or credit card or any form of payment needed). Just bring some sweat pants, a good attitude and an open mind to learn.
  
  I was total surprised by the level of discipline and dedication that each student showed to the dojo, myself and the head instructor. Everything was clean, flowed naturally, and seemed very old school. It was literally like I was in Japan learning in an ancient dojo out in the snowy mountains. It all felt very real, very fun, very different, and just what I was looking for in a school.
  
  Most of all, there were only adults. A couple of young guys here and there (in college) but mostly guys and gals in their mid 20s to late 40s that took everything very seriously and were very keen on wanting to improve in the martial arts and really help each other.
  
  There were actually a couple of law enforcement guys I saw there that had some really great stories to tell, including a retired undercover NYPD detective that worked in the narcotics division.
  
  It was just really cool to finally find a school that took the ideas of self-defense, real life combat, personal transformation and leadership development very seriously. Honestly there’s no downside to giving it a try. Definitely check this one out.
